April, May & June Update

Since our last update we have sent out another 36 quotation bringing the total so far this year to 91 with another 9 enquiries being priced ready to send out next week.

We are pleased to advise that we have now won another 14 projects including works in Weymouth, Newquay, St Ives, Bideford, Bristol and Torbay.

SWCRs External works to St Andrews Court Merchant house is coming to an end. The Evening herald has shown a picture of how the new office block with ground floor shops and restaurants and fifth floor penthouse will look.  SWCR are proud to have been involved with the refurbishment of this prestigious building.

Works to repair the concrete walkways and balconies to the properties on The Mount at Appledore Bideford are about to start.

As well as traditional concrete repairs new non-slip deck coatings and renewal of the decorative spar dashing will also be carried out.

We are also carrying out investigative survey and testing works for Network Rail on Intercity House at Plymouth Train Station and Bretonside viaduct (formerly the bus station) for Plymouth City Council via South West highways under the Highways Term Contract.

We have recently taken on a new concrete repair operative, and following successful completion of his 3 month trial period we are pleased to welcome Chris to team on a permanent basis.

Following a 3 day investigation and assessment process we are pleased to announce that SWCR have once again been fully accredited for our BS EN ISO 9001 Quality Management, BS EN ISO 14001 Environmental Management and our OHSAS Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems.

We have also completed our second year assessment for the Achilles Community Certification.
